No spreadsheets, no returns. This time, let’s experience Dubai the light way – with a cocktail in hand, views from above, and a small dose of inspiration for the soul.
Dubai inspires – not only with its real estate but also with the lifestyle that comes with it. And since summer is the perfect time to slow down and soak in the city from a different perspective, here are three places worth visiting. One will take you to the sea, one to the skies, and one into the future.
J1 Beach
On the site of the former La Mer South, you’ll now find J1 Beach – a modern beachside destination with soft sand, palm trees, and stylish venues. Located in Jumeirah 1, just ten minutes by car from Downtown Dubai, it’s easily accessible by taxi, Uber, or public transport. Parking is available right by the beach.
J1 Beach offers a wide shoreline with sea views, landscaped promenades, and elegant spots like Gigi Rigolatto, Bâoli, or Sirene by Gaia, where you can enjoy great food and cocktails with your feet in the sand. Access to the beach is free, but if you’d like to enjoy the comfort of one of the beach clubs – for example Gigi – expect to pay from around 200 AED per person. We recommend booking in advance, especially on weekends.
Whether you're in the mood for a quick walk or a whole day by the sea, J1 Beach lets you experience Dubai’s laid-back, sunny, and effortlessly stylish side.
Aura Sky Pool
Soaring 200 meters above the ground, on the 50th floor of The Palm Tower, lies Aura Sky Pool – one of the world’s highest 360° infinity pools. From the water, you can admire the city skyline, the iconic Burj Al Arab, Palm Jumeirah, and the endless sea horizon. The atmosphere changes throughout the day – it’s calm in the morning, vibrant in the afternoon, and absolutely magical at sunset.
Your time here is more than just a swim – the sunbeds are arranged in view-specific zones, and there’s a chic lounge and restaurant with cocktail and à la carte menus. Entry fees vary depending on time and zone: morning visits start at 200 AED, afternoons from 250 AED, and a full-day experience can go over 500 AED. Booking online in advance is highly recommended – space is limited.
Aura offers a tropical escape with a mix of architectural minimalism, comfort, and serious wow factor – perfect for photos, celebrations, or uninterrupted relaxation.
Museum of the Future
After a day in the sun, don’t miss a cultural stop – the Museum of the Future is the kind of contrasting experience that makes Dubai more than just a summer destination. This architectural marvel, shaped like a futuristic ring and wrapped in Arabic calligraphy, holds a visionary experience inside.
The exhibitions explore themes like artificial intelligence, sustainability, health, space, and human creativity. Everything is interactive, playful, and thoughtfully designed. Tickets are 149 AED for adults, and children under 4 enter for free. The museum is open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and we recommend setting aside at least two hours – you’ll leave with your head full of ideas.
Dubai Summer, with Style
Dubai isn’t just about numbers and returns. It’s about a life worth living – fully, stylishly, and with a view into the future. Whether you’re just passing through or considering an investment, don’t forget to enjoy the city beyond charts and property tours. Because it’s this unique balance of beauty, experience, and vision that makes Dubai so unforgettable.
