Bank account in the UAE for residents and non-residents
A local bank account is a key step in building any serious relationship with the UAE. It allows you to receive rental income, cover property-related expenses, handle transactions in AED seamlessly, and establish a solid financial presence in the region.
If you already have – or are in the process of obtaining – a residency visa and Emirates ID, we will help you open an account with leading Dubai banks.
Required documents (residents)
✓ Copy of passport, Emirates ID, residency visa
✓ CV (curriculum vitae)
✓ DEWA bill – electricity bill
✓ Local phone number
The account can only be opened once the Emirates ID is physically issued. We recommend staying in the UAE until you receive it, or arranging secure delivery to your home address.
Even without a residency visa, you don’t have to miss out on access to local banking. We’ll help you open an account with one of the largest banks in the UAE.
Required documents (non-residents)
✓ Passport
✓ Proof of address in your home country
✓ Bank reference letter
